SCHEDULING POLICIES
CONSULTATIONS: NEW CLIENTS
Consultations may be scheduled online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Consultations must be scheduled at least 24 hours before the desired date and may be reserved as many as 30 days in advance.
A non-refundable fee in the amount of $175 is payable upon reservation of a consultation, whether the consultation is in-office or via telephone. Consultations will not be scheduled without advance payment of the non-refundable consultation fee.
The consultation fee is credited to the cost of services performed upon client’s retention of the Firm.
The Firm typically sets aside forty-five (45) minutes for new client consultations but may extend meeting time at its discretion and if necessary.
If it is foreseeable that more than 45 minutes are required for a consultation, please immediately notify Attorney Mackenzie Evans, Founder & Principal of the Firm, to request an extended meeting.
GRACE PERIOD: CANCELLATION
The Firm extends to new and existing clients a fifteen (15) minute grace period to begin consultations.
Arrival more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start of consultation results in cancellation of the appointment.
If a consultation is cancelled, it may be rescheduled online.
New clients must pay a non-refundable rescheduling fee of $25, which fee will be credited to the cost of services performed upon client’s retention of the Firm.
Existing clients will be charged for the 15-minute grace period, calculated as a fraction of counsel’s current hourly rate.
Consultations and meetings cancelled more than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled date and time may be rescheduled at no charge. Please email scheduling@mackenzieevanslaw.com to notify Counsel of changes in client’s availability.
MEETINGS: EXISTING CLIENTS
Existing clients may schedule meetings online.
Please specify the purpose of the meeting so that the appropriate time may be set aside to address your particular needs.
The cost of a meeting with counsel will be consistent with the hourly rate detailed in the existing client’s executed Terms of Engagement with the Firm.
